Simon Hemphill

Simon Hemphill is the Head of Research for the Shopping Centre Council of Australia (SCCA), the national industry advocacy group for major owners, managers and developers of shopping centres. In this role, Simon provides robust analysis of the key drivers and metrics that relate to the shopping centre industry which shape our evidence-based policy advice. This analysis includes data directly related to operation of shopping centres (such as retail trade, consumer confidence, key economic indicators, etc.), policy research and internal modelling of changes to Government legislation that affect the broader property market, and the shopping centre industry in particular. Simon also heads up a, member-only, Research Committee for the SCCA.
