World Square launches Lumine | World of Lights & Mirrors, in Celebration of VIVID

On Friday, 26 May, Sydney CBD’s World Square launched its three-week celebration of VIVID, Sydney’s Festival of Light. LUMINE | World of Lights & Mirrors ignites the imagination and transports visitors into a realm of wonder The captivating experience includes giant LED trees, mirrors, lights, enchantment, and customers have the opportunity to eat their way to win a share of over $20k.

Co-owned by ISPT and Acadia Funds Management and managed by JLL, World Square Shopping Centre is located at the southern end of the Sydney CBD and with a large footprint of 1.52ha, it encompasses four street frontages, including George, Pitt, Liverpool and Goulburn Streets and is adjacent to Chinatown. Anchored by Coles, six mini majors and 86 specialty retailers, the centre’s vibrant mix of food, fashion and services results in a strong offering catered to the local residential and business community.

Being a late, late trading centre (supermarkets close at 12 midnight) and an openly accessible one at that means that visitors have 24-hour access to Lumine, which will be in centre until Saturday, 17 June.

At the heart of LUMINE lies the enchanting Mirror Forest, offering a kaleidoscope of reflections, unveiling a tapestry of captivating stories and igniting the spirit of creativity. The Vibrant Reflection wall is a captivating installation, fusing neon and mirrors, which invites people to embrace and express their diverse and vibrant selves. The Infinity Stairs is a graphic spiral illusion that seamlessly spreads through the square and guides visitors to each lane.

Tapping into their customers’ love of tech-enabled offers, World Square is also giving their visitors the opportunity to win over $20k in bonus cashback and instant prizes when they pay via the ShopBack app. Participating customers can then evoke their most illuminated and celebratory selves and Pay and Play with ShopBack n the centre’s interactive, light up dancefloor.
