On Saturday 29 October and Sunday 30 October, The Great Graze will take over The Streets of Barangaroo. The two-day festival will include a tasting plate trail, a speaker series, a First Nations native foods market and live entertainment.

From 11am – 5pm each day, The Great Graze will see some of Sydney’s favourite restaurants and cafés serving tasting plates of signature dishes from market-style stalls outside each venue. Dishes will be priced between $6 and $16, allowing revellers to take a ‘tasting trail’ across the precinct.

A long picnic table on Wulugal Walk will provide festivalgoers with a place to enjoy their dishes and connect with other foodies overlooking the Sydney Harbour. Those interested in seeking out a drink can head to the festival bar in front of Barangaroo House to enjoy their meals.

To kick off the festival on Saturday, ‘Food for Thought,’ a speaker series of Sydney’s top hospitality heavyweights will be hosted in the lobby of International Tower 1. Hosted by leading Australian food media personality Myffy Rigby, the sessions will take the form of conversations along with tips and tricks for the audience to take to the home kitchen.

‘Food for Thought’ talent includes celebrity chef and restaurateur Matt Moran, Brent Savage (The Bentley Group), John Susman (managing director and owner of FISHTALES) and Rebecca Sullivan & Damien Coulthard (authors of the First Nations Food Companion).

Brent Savage will also be hosting a sustainable seafood lunch at his hatted Barangaroo venue, Cirrus, hosted by Australian seafood expert John Susman.

Along with hosting the speaker series, the foyer of International Tower 1 will be home to a First Nations food market with incredible food, drink and products on offer. Stallholders include: Warndu; Blak Cede; Bush to Bowl; Chocolate on Purpose; IndigiEarth; The Unexpected Guest; Meat Brothers; Native Botanical Brewing; Amber’s Food Wraps; and Native Foodways.

The family-friendly festival will feature a weekend-long program filled with music and roving entertainment. DJs will be bringing the party vibe outside of International Tower 1 and Matt Moran’s Barangaroo House will be pumping great tunes as always, the perfect opportunity for revellers to check out their new vinyl bar, Rekodo.

The Great Graze is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the CBD’s Revitalisation Program and is an event designed to showcase The Streets of Barangaroo as one of Sydney’s best hospitality destinations.

NSW 24-Hour Economy Commissioner, Michael Rodrigues, said: “Barangaroo continues to establish itself as a must-visit hospitality, arts and culture precinct, with its innovative and diverse program of activity. The Great Graze is the latest example of that, and the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner is proud to assist The Streets of Barangaroo in facilitating audience reconnection in our urban environments.”

Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade Alister Henskens said: “The NSW Government’s $50- million CBDs Revitalisation Program is reigniting social connection and economic activity in urban centres across Greater Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, through a range of arts, music, food and beverage and cultural events.”

The Streets of Barangaroo is home to some of Sydney’s most exciting venues and some of the dishes on offer at The Great Graze include:
