Kinchin Lane at Stockland Wetherill Park will be transformed into a vibrant, pool-party themed summer festival. The laneway restaurant precinct has long been a hub for local foodies, and is alive with an array of cuisines such as Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Mexican and American.
This year’s Summer Eats & Beats festival celebrates the community’s love of food, summer, and music, with a range of entertainment and dining experiences happening throughout the day and into the evening.
Michael Iraninejad, Centre Manager at Stockland Wetherill Park, said the festival is a natural extension of Kinchin Lane’s colourful cultural characteristics. “We wanted to create an experience that appeals to our food-loving community and celebrates the feeling of an Aussie summer,” he said.
“Whether it is trying something delicious at a pop-up food stall, learning new things at a workshop, or hanging out and enjoying the live entertainment, the Summer Eats & Beats festival has everything you need to round out summer on the right note.”
The immersive experience includes beach decorations throughout Kinchin Lane, with live music, stilt walkers, roller skaters, and dancers providing entertainment for visitors. Customers will also be able to win a memorable dining experience by snapping and sharing a summer pool-party themed selfie.
The Summer Eats & Beats festival at Kinchin Lane will run between Thursday, 10 February, and Sunday, 27 February, from 10am until late.
