“Our aim is to continue to help shape Riverton into a thriving and connected community. We know that our customers want experiences at our centre, and so are pleased to be able to deliver fun and educational programs like the Youth Art Awards.”

“The teachers, students and our customers love to see what the kids come up with. It really is impressive what they can do.”

The Youth Art Awards has been a successful project which encourages local schools to submit students’ art guided by the theme ‘Colour the Rainbow’. Eight schools and community groups participated this year, with each one receiving a $200 Stockland gift card for their school and another $200 worth of art supplies.

In line with the theme ‘Colour the Rainbow’, Stockland Riverton invites kids to experience an explosion of colour these school holidays with a number of fun events including face painting, slime making, scratch art and much more. The activities will take place from Monday to Saturday between 11am and 2pm outside Big W.

The successful entries will be displayed in the centre until Sunday 13 October.

Stockland Riverton is located 11 kilometres south-east of Perth’s CBD. The centre includes Woolworths, Big W, The Reject Shop, 64 specialty stores and five pad sites, including an alfresco dining area.
