In an exclusive first, QIC’s Robina Town Centre and The Village Markets (TVM) have joined local forces to bring a festive Twilight Pop-Up Christmas Market to The Promenade on Thursday, December 7.
More than 50 favourite TVM stalls lined the lakeside precinct offering an array of local fashion, art, design, vintage finds and gifts under a twinkling canopy of festoon lights and illuminated by the Gold Coast’s favourite super-sized Christmas Tree.
“We’ve been dreaming of hosting a Christmas Market on The Promenade, as it’s the perfect out-door space for twilight shopping,” said Robina Town Centre Marketing Manager, Ashlee Hume.
“We’re particularly thrilled to partner with The Village Markets, who have created an inspired mar-ket culture here on the Gold Coast and are considered the coast’s favourite markets, so we’re expecting a night filled with plenty of family fun and festivities.”
As well as stalls packed with Christmas goodies, the markets offered live entertainment, a glitter bar, face painting and a visit from Santa.
Co-founder of The Village Markets, Marissa Bowden said, “We’re pleased to bring an incredible lineup of brands and artisans to Robina Town Centre for our very first Twilight event. It’s such a wonderful time of the year to be outside, enjoying family and having fun and we’re so excited to see TVM under lights.”
In addition to markets stalls, The Promenade restaurants offered a selection of international dining options to tempt shopper’s til’ late, while inside the centre, Awkward Portraits returned for it’s sixth year for those looking to add another dimension of fun to their yearly Christmas snap.
