Beauty industry consumer trends have witnessed a significant transformation in recent years, fuelled by the rise of social media platforms. Among these, TikTok has emerged as a powerful force in the consumer decision-making process.
TikTok has created an authentic and genuine nature, influencing purchasing decisions. Statistics show that 37% of people immediately bought a beauty product when shown on TikTok, and an incredible 71% of people trust a product suggestion provided by an influencer.
Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is set to embrace these consumer trends by welcoming its Beauty Weekend in June.
Kate Halpin, Senior Marketing Manager at Pacific Fair, is thrilled for shoppers to participate in the weekend events.
“We have seen first-hand the incredible effect that social media and TikTok have made on buying habits here at Pacific Fair, especially in the beauty space,” said Halpin.
“Designing our Beauty Weekend with the knowledge of these consumer trends as the core focus has allowed Pacific Fair to remain relevant to shoppers and adapt to the current market.”
Pacific Fair’s Beauty Weekend will be running on June 10 and 11, with $30k in giveaways and mystery boxes up for grabs around the centre and a pop-up arcade where customers can play to win some of the most viral TikTok beauty products.
