Melbourne Central has revealed its one-of-a-kind Christmas activation, the Custom Kiosk, allowing customers to personalise almost any product purchased from a Melbourne Central retailer for free.

Continuing to set the precedent for shopping centre activations across the country, Melbourne Central’s Custom Kiosk will allow shoppers to have their gift of choice embroidered, engraved, beaded, patched or even hand-painted.

Think embroidered pyjamas, engraved perfumes and champagne bottles, patched denim, beaded shoelaces, or hand-painted pet-food bowls; and with Melbourne Central opening more than 20 new stores in 2022 alone (with more to come), including new flagship stores for LUSH and Calvin Klein, as well as first-to-market openings of One Plus Piece Café and Tommy Jeans, shoppers will be spoilt for choice.

Melbourne Central’s Centre Manager Denis Ryan said: “It’s been a big year for Melbourne Central with an incredible lineup of new store openings across our fashion, beauty and food precincts, and even more to come in the next few months. We pride ourselves on being one of the most unique shopping precincts in the country, with our diverse range of exclusive retailers like PopMart, One Plus Piece Café and Tommy Jeans.”

Shoppers simply purchase a product from any Melbourne Central retailer, bring it to the Custom Kiosk with their receipt, explain their customisation request to one of the artists and watch the magic happen.

“We love to do things differently at Melbourne Central, so for this year’s Christmas activation, we wanted to add value to our customers’ shopping experience with a custom kiosk that they couldn’t get anywhere else. We hope it adds that unexpected personal touch to help make someone’s Christmas Day just that little more special,” said Ryan.

The Custom Kiosk will be popping up opposite Country Road on Level 2 from 1pm to 6pm until Friday 23 December. One customisation is redeemable per person, per day.

Free parking is also redeemable throughout December on weekends and during extended late-night hours for the first 200 customers who spend over $100 in-centre.
