The GPT Group is offering its customers the chance to win groceries for a year, with shoppers across the country invited to enter the fresh food giveaway before it closes on 14 August 2023.

Australian families are forking out thousands of dollars more on groceries compared to a year ago due to inflationary pressures. A recent Finder survey of more than 1,000 households found the cost of a weekly grocery shop had jumped 25% over the past year.

With escalating grocery costs in mind, GPT will provide a year’s worth of grocery shopping relief for a lucky winner to enjoy.

GPT’s Head of Retail & Mixed Use, Chris Barnett, said “We recognise escalating grocery costs are an extra pressure that many Australians are having to account for at the moment. We’re thrilled to announce our giveaway and provide a years’ worth of grocery shopping relief for one lucky winner. And, in keeping with our commitment to provide shoppers quick and convenient access to their everyday needs, we are also proud to launch a national fresh food content series, providing free access to a range of online recipe ideas.”

GPT’s national fresh food series offers a range of recipes that cater to a variety of needs including healthy meal ideas, budget-friendly inspiration under $20, quick and convenient one-pan wonders, and effortless entertaining recipes.

Participating GPT shopping centres include: Charlestown Square, Chirnside Park, Dapto Mall, Highpoint Shopping Centre, Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Malvern Central, Marrickville Metro, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Parkmore Shopping Centre and Rouse Hill Town Centre.

To enter the grocery giveaway, shoppers can simply head to their local participating GPT retailer website.
