AMP Capital’s Garden City is welcoming spring summer style with a month-long, in-centre celebration of the new season. A series of art and fashion-focused activations and events will set the tone for the season, capturing the essence of spring summer fashion and delivering a unique shopping experience for customers.
In a homage to fashion’s most inexhaustible but fabulous floral trend, and in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the Fashion Mall will become home to a botanical art installation of its own. The installation is inspired by Eva Fernandez’s Anigozanthos flavidus 2011 which is now showing as part of The Botanical: Beauty and Peril exhibition at the Gallery in collaboration with the Janet Holmes à Court Collection.
The team will work throughout the night to deliver the 5-metre botanical masterpiece complete with hundreds of living and dried blooms and greenery creating a spectacle for shoppers. The installation will remain in centre for three weeks, giving customers the opportunity to take a photo with the work of botanical art and share it to Instagram for the chance to win the ultimate shopping prize pack.
Garden City Centre Senior Marketing Manager Clare Riley says the centre is looking forward to bringing one of the most sought-after spring summer trends to life in centre. “The launch of spring summer fashion is such an exciting time in retail, and we’re excited to bring something unique to the centre to celebrate the new season.”
Shoppers will also have the chance to enjoy a VIP shopping event, relax in the Sip N’ Shop Lounge with a botanical gin cocktail and redeem an exclusive Flannel gift with purchase to celebrate the launch of spring summer fashion at the centre.
