The bells are ringing at Chadstone as The Fashion Capital welcomes visitors to come together this Christmas. With more celebrations than ever before, the festive spirit has come alive as the largest integrated lifestyle destination in the southern hemisphere provides more hours for guests to experience the magic of Christmas.

Visitors can kick off the holiday season by capturing images to keep forever at the Santa Photography experience. In a Chadstone first, visitors can enjoy the dazzling display of the Light, Sound and Snow show which will take place every night during extended Christmas shopping hours commencing on Thursday 9, December.

As a gift to the community, The Fashion Capital will also host a mesmerising fireworks display to launch the Light, Sound and Snow show over the iconic grid shell roof.

From Thursday 9, December, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the festive spirit as Chadstone introduces its inaugural Light, Sound and Snow Show. Staged during the extended Christmas shopping hours from Thursday 9, December until Thursday 23, December, the iconic gridshell roof will come alive every hour, on the hour, from 7pm onwards. With impressive light displays, festive music and a smattering of bright white snowfall.

Michael Whitehead, Regional General Manager – Chadstone, reaffirmed the importance of making Christmas celebrations more magical than ever before. “Chadstone truly transforms over the festive season and we are committed to making Christmas at The Fashion Capital as memorable as possible. Visitors can enjoy our selection of over 500 stores, first-to-market pop-ups, delicious dining options and magical Christmas experiences to share with loved ones.”

“For more than 60 years, Chadstone has been the one-stop shop for Christmas. With longer opening hours, an abundance of gift ideas and more entertainment than ever before, visitors can find everything they need under the one roof this festive season,” said Whitehead.

Festive fun around every corner

After the year that was, capturing magical memories with loved ones is more important than ever, and Chadstone’s exclusive and socially distanced Santa Photography experience will return to The Fashion Capital from Thursday 18, November until Christmas Eve.

A professional photographer will capture keepsake imagery in an unparalleled festive setting, which includes talking reindeer, snow falling on the hour and a giant Christmas tree. Each family will walk away with a tailor-made digital gallery created on the spot.

Chadstone is once again simplifying the Christmas shopping experience with a digital Gift Guide. Shoppers can find an endless array of gifting inspiration for everyone, from colleagues to the beauty lovers, to the foodie and the person who has everything. If all else fails, Chadstone’s dedicated Gift Card Shop is accepted at all Chadstone retailers that accept Eftpos, including David Jones and Myer.
