Chadstone – The Fashion Capital welcomes the arrival of its latest Entertainment Series, Blanc Noir – a spectacle of cabaret acts, street theatre and interactive performances inspired by the game of kings.

From Saturday 8 April until Sunday 23 April, visitors to Chadstone can witness a range of free fun-filled entertainment, including evening performances and school holiday workshops designed to captivate and entertain the whole family.

Blanc Noir demonstrates Chadstone’s proven commitment to providing world-class entertainment and first-to-market experiences, and further cements The Fashion Capital’s position as an internationally renowned integrated lifestyle and entertainment destination.

A show like no other, Blanc Noir is where the world of fairy tales and chess collides; audiences will witness impressive skills, whimsical performances, and dynamic physical theatre under the grid shell roof throughout a jam-packed schedule this April. Activations include:

The Curious Game – Located Lower Ground Level outside Target
A show where the world of fairy tales and chess collide, and the audience takes the stage. Witness an interactive, absurd and humorous performance by a bossy queen, a silly knight and a pawn. Two x 40-minute shows will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Chess Cabaret – Located Lower Ground Level, outside David Jones 
Be transported into a world of dynamic physical theatre, magic and circus acts at the Chess Cabaret show. Created uniquely for Chadstone, the show will keep customers on the edge of their seats with some of the most impressive acts and skills to be seen. Three x 30-minute shows will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Chess Mates Located Lower Ground Level, outside David Jones 
Chess Mates, features imaginative chess-inspired arts and crafts, whimsical performances, dance and games. There are activities suited to all ages. The free, bookable sessions will run every day at 10am, 12pm and 2pm, with additional 4pm sessions available on Thursdays and Sundays.

Giant Chess – Located Lower Ground Level, outside Target 
Enjoy a giant game of chess at Chadstone’s black and white precinct every day during Blanc Noir. Winners will be rewarded with Chadstone Gift Vouchers.

Visitors can also enjoy roving entertainment at Chadstone’s newly opened dining and entertainment precinct, The Social Quarter, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings.
