Self Love, Empowerment, Individuality and Body Confidence are just some of the inspiring topics to be covered by lifestyle and social influencers at this month’s Cairns Central’s Self Love Festival to create wellbeing for all customers.

Held over five days from 23 to 27 October, Cairns Central will hold intimate workshops and panel discussions with the centre’s self love ambassador and international Model Bree Warren who was blessed with a body that doesn’t fit the traditional model mould, and Emma Carrey the girl who fell from the sky, plus other guest speakers who will share their personal journeys on overcoming adversity, living their best lives, embracing natural beauty, and why being kind to yourself is the key to a happy and fulfilled life.

“The Self Love Festival is a multi-faceted event, with plenty of activations to encourage everyone to learn to love themselves better.” said Marketing Manager, Louise Struber

“The festival will focus on providing customers with intimate and authentic experiences, offering guests the chance to feel and spread self love and to embrace their individuality”, Struber continues

Interactive zones will run all week to help guests conquer insecurities including a self love bowling lane to ‘bowl away’ self-doubt, a self-love mirror encouraging guests to explore and write what they love about themselves, and a glitter station for a free glitter makeover.

On Sat 27 October at 11am as part of the Confidence panel – It’s My Body And I’ll Love It If I Want To, The Real Simone Marie, Maddi Wright, Eliza Landgren and Jarron Andy talk about the importance of body positivity, taking care of your mental health, building resilience, and the benefits of living an active lifestyle.

At 1pm, the Nurture panel will discuss Being a Mother in The Digital Age. Kirsty Vallely aka ‘the Imperfect Mum’, Maddi Wright and Pip Miller discuss how to challenge the societal expectations that come with being a mother, and why supporting other mums is so important.

Fitness advocate Eliza Landgren will share the importance of taking care of yourself, as well as your family, and how you can incorporate small lifestyle changes into your daily routine to get yourself back on track to being a healthier, happier mum.

Cairns Central will also be searching for the next big Self Love influencer which will include an ultimate makeover experience valued at $3,000. Simply take a photo at the Self Love photo booth and upload it to Instagram, captioning the image with what you love about yourself and how you practice self love using the hashtag #selflovefestival and tagging @cairnscentral.
