The driving force behind three thriving neighbourhood shopping centres Banna Property Group, is excited to announce the successful celebrations of birthday milestones for Greenfield Park Shopping Village (40 years), Pennant Hills Market Place (40 years) and Rosemeadow Marketplace (30 years) over the past three months.

The trilogy of celebratory events showcased the property management company’s commitment to curating vibrant, community-centric spaces that stand the test of time.

Banna Property Group is a third generation family business that embraces a long-term approach and believe in building enduring relationships with both retailers and the community. This philosophy is reflected in the ongoing refurbishments that each of their centres have undergone, ensuring that despite their age, they remain modern, welcoming, and responsive to the evolving needs of the communities they serve.

Sean Merhi, Asset Manager of Banna Property Group said: “Celebrating the birthdays of three of our shopping centres within a span of three months is a moment of immense pride for us. Each of these establishments have become an integral part of its respective community, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of local life. We’re grateful for the trust our retailers and the community have placed in us over the years.”

The company’s strategic focus on community engagement was evident in the diverse range of activities across the celebrations.

The festivities included exciting retailer giveaways using Komo’s interactive digital platform, community artwork displays, and performances from local community groups. The events were a testament to the company’s dedication to creating memorable experiences for retailers and the community.

The interactive digital platform saw 26,880 visits and resulted in more than 12,600 entries across all centres. The retailer giveaways not only expressed gratitude to loyal customers but also reinforced the company’s commitment to fostering a positive shopping experience.

The performances from local community groups and community artwork displays added an extra layer of festivity, showcasing the rich talent and cultural diversity within the community. This aligns with the company’s ethos of creating spaces that go beyond retail – places where people can come together to celebrate and connect.

The past three months were not just a celebration of the physical spaces, but a celebration of the relationships built over the years with retailers, customers, and the wider community. It also highlights the role neighbourhood shopping centres have in communities, not only providing convenient shopping experiences but a place to meet friends and a home away from home.

Dr. John Williams, who has been part of Greenfield Park Shopping Village since the beginning, commented on the celebrations, saying, “I have been part of the village for 40 years and the journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Banna Property Group’s commitment to the community has turned this shopping centre into more than just a commercial space; it’s a living, breathing part of our community, and I am grateful to be part of it.”

As Banna embarks on the new year, its commitment to fostering community bonds and creating welcoming spaces for residents to shop, connect, and celebrate together remains unwavering.
