Global property services firm, JLL has appointed Nick Willis to the role of Director, National Retail Investments based in Sydney. Willis joins JLL from CBRE where he has spent the past ten years in the retail sector and most recently led CBRE’s New South Wales Retail Investments business division for four years.
Throughout the past year, Willis has driven more than $400 million worth of transactions, representing major institutional clients and high net worth private investors. His recent key transactions have included the sale of Sydney’s Norton Plaza for $153.2 million on behalf of GPT, Moonee Marketplace for $30.5 million on behalf of Gowings and AMP Capital’s Crossroads Homemaker Centre.
The JLL National Retail Investments team includes dedicated retail investment specialists in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Willis will work alongside Senior Directors, Sam Hatcher and Jacob Swan who were jointly appointed to lead the JLL National Retail Investments team earlier this year.
Further recent appointments to the team include Sam Linden, formally from m3property and in the role of Senior Retail Analyst, Hannah Brisbane, formally from CBRE and in the role of Retail Investments Operations Manager and Tracy Tam who joins JLL from Savills Australia and in the role of Senior Retail Analyst.

The JLL National Retail Investment team approach will deliver local strategies, aiming to address changing shopping preferences, including online shopping, demographic trends and factors that are evolving in the retail space.
