Pacific Werribee, Melbourne
On 28 July, Pacific Werribee opened its doors after undergoing a $400-million redevelopment. Over 50,000 budding shoppers flocked through the doors so they could be the first to experience the Centre’s exciting new offerings and immerse themselves in the fun launch festivities.
Pacific Werribee now houses an additional 40 retailers inside the new light-filled mall, including H&M and Uniqlo alongside popular Australian retailers such as Seed Heritage, Sportsgirl, Peter Alexander, Decjuba, Sheike and Bardot. Existing favourite Cotton On underwent an expansion which now sees the store spanning across almost 800m2. Additionally, the relocated Myer is now three times its original size and offers a range of popular brands such as TOPSHOP, Country Road, French Connection and Sportscraft.
Pacific Shopping Centres’ CEO Graham Terry says, “Welcoming these prominent brands to Pacific Werribee’s stable of leading retailers is a proud moment for us. We embarked on this development with the vision of evolving the Centre into a one-stop fashion, food and entertainment destination, and it’s the introduction of these great global and local brands that will create a well-rounded destination that’s comparable to that of metropolitan Melbourne.”
The introduction of leading fashion retailers now compliments the Centre’s already established entertainment precinct. Urban Diner, which opened last year, is home to over 15 specialty food and hospitality offerings including San Churro, The Groove Train, Guzman Y Gomez and The Pancake Parlour, as well as a Village Cinemas with Gold Class facilities.
Graham Terry adds, “We are thrilled to see the community embrace and support the new centre”.
