Pacific Fair
On the May 5, Pacific Fair celebrated another milestone as David Jones, H&M and UNIQLO opened. The celebrations kicked off the final stage of the centre’s $670-million redevelopment which will see it transformed into the largest shopping centre in Queensland.
AMP Capital Shopping Centres Managing Director, Bryan Hynes and David Jones Ambassador, Jesinta Campbell, were on site for the opening which saw hundreds of shoppers come through the door to see ‘The Resort’ precinct and be the first to visit the new retailers.
Bryan Hynes said, “Today’s retail openings mark the beginning of an exciting new phase of the Pacific Fair redevelopment, which will take Queensland’s fashion offering to new heights. This includes H&M and UNIQLO, who today opened their first stores on the Gold Coast, as well as luxury retailers including Bally, CHANEL Beaute, Christian Louboutin, Coach, and Salvatore Ferragamo.”
Other new stores include Bed Bath N Table, Camilla, Dion Lee, Kate Spade, Kit and Ace, L’Occitane, MIMCO, Seed, Superdry, TUMI and UGG Australia. SCN
