Mandurah Forum’s $350-million transformation
Construction is well underway for the $350-million Mandurah Forum transformation, which will make it the first major regional shopping destination south west of Perth.
Owned by Vicinity Centres and ISPT, Mandurah Forum is situated in WA’s fastest growing region. From what was a quiet tourist town, Mandurah is now a bustling centre of activity and has become the second-largest city in the State with a thriving, diverse community full of opportunity.
Nestled in the heart of the Peel Region, Mandurah Forum is the region’s major retail destination. Once complete, the revitalised Mandurah Forum will provide the community with a new, vibrant retail destination.
The transformation will see it almost double in size, with more than 24,000m2 of retail space being added to deliver the most comprehensive regional fashion, food and leisure offering in one location. With a new multi-deck and covered car parking providing over 3,000 parking bays, it will provide improved facilities offering customers stress-free convenience.
Mandurah Forum will be anchored by major retailers David Jones, Target, Big W, Woolworths, Coles and Kmart. This strong line-up of major tenants is attracting interest from an array of exciting new tenants to be announced in coming months.
Designed to reflect the coastal character of Mandurah, this unique development will boast inside/outside dining options, offering the community much more than a shopping destination. It will become the ‘Heart of the South’, a hub for the community to connect, relax and enjoy their experience.
The new Mandurah Forum will offer something for everyone, from the latest fashion stores to a fresh-food market hall and an alfresco dining experience.
As SCN’s number one Little Guns centre in terms of MAT since the turn of the milleneum, Mandurah Forum is ready to take its place on a new stage and become one of WA’s premier shopping and lifestyle destinations upon completion in March 2018. SCN
