One of Perth’s most talked about precincts will come to life as Raine Square opens its doors on Monday 17 September and unveils Stage 1 of its $200 million transformation into a late night 7-day a week dining, shopping and entertainment precinct.
Headlined by Palace Cinemas, the Michelin-starred dim sum chain Tim Ho Wan and Coles Central, Raine Square will deliver one of the most extensive, diverse and exciting dining offerings featuring 12 casual dining restaurants, a nine-screen cinema, and a range of speciality stores as part of its Stage 1 launch.
Exciting new comers to broaden the dining offer include Greenhorns, a licenced burger bar; Brezel Brothers, a brand new Swiss pretzel concept store; Voodoo Coffee, the batch roasting experts for the serious coffee connoisseur; Cocolat, an absolute must for those that have a sweet tooth; Thai Thyme, fresh, made-to-order Thai food and Tokyo Station, a daily fix for sushi fans.
Charter Hall’s Head of Office Development Andrew Borger said the Raine Square redevelopment had been in the planning for four years and they were thrilled to see it come to life.
“This is a flagship development for Charter Hall in Perth and has involved a significant investment to plan and build. Situated in the very centre of the CBD, accessed by thousands of commuters, office workers, shoppers and tourists each day, the redeveloped Raine Square will deliver a brand new, world-class retail, dining and entertainment precinct in the heart of the city,” Borger said.
Following a 12-month construction period led by Built, the redeveloped entertainment and dining precinct features a mix of heritage listed elements and contemporary design features to deliver a more connected, accessible and appealing precinct.
“The revitalised design improves connectivity, site mobility and cleverly integrates heritage and contemporary design. There is a mix of new retail, specialty and dining venues and Perth CBD’s only cinema, making Raine Square one of the most unique, CBD-based entertainment and dining precincts,” Borger added.
“On Monday 17 September we open the doors to this new precinct and look forward to welcoming local residents and workers, shoppers, tourists, foodies and movie goers… this is a destination with something to offer everyone and we look forward to sharing that experience.”
