This project is the first chapter of a long-held vision to deliver a true urban Town Centre for the Hills District of Sydney’s North West. Stage 1 delivers a seamless link to the new Castle Hill Metro Station from Castle Towers and creates a new marketplace that celebrates the centrality of food in the local community’s daily lives. Stretching through a pedestrian underpass from the new station through to the revitalised Coles on Level 1, the marketplace will be a place where local artisans and purveyors of the freshest produce come together to celebrate food every day. The innovative new transport and food precinct will be further enhanced by a significant remixing of retail offerings across upper levels above the new space, to enable the introduction of several new big brands.
