The ambition for 80 Collins was to deliver one of the world’s landmark towers. For more than 15 years as the development manager, QICGRE’s ambition and commitment to honour the provenance of 80 Collins saw them progressively acquire adjacent sites to create an unprecedented development opportunity in the Australian CBD real estate market. An active demonstration of the QICGRE strategy and capability in action, 80 Collins is identified as much for its visionary approach to mixed use place and design as the legacy it leaves for its contribution to Melbourne’s storied East End. 80 Collins will deliver a highly curated selection of luxury hospitality and retail experiences to the Melbourne CBD, including a 2,500m2 multi-layered restaurant and dining experience by Lucas Restaurants and globally acclaimed chef Martin Benn. 80 Collins will be a destination that enlivens its surrounds and honours Melbourne’s thriving culture and commerce, attracting global interest through its distinct local identity.
