Global brands to form part of the new Pacific Werribee

Pacific Werribee will be introducing an impressive stable of global and leading Australian brands to its existing offer, as stage three of its $400-million landmark redevelopment nears completion.

H&M and Uniqlo will be housed in the new mall alongside an expanded Myer. An additional 30 retailers will also open their doors later this year, including popular Australian labels such as Mecca Maxima, Seed Heritage, Sportsgirl, Peter Alexander, Decjuba and Bardot. The centre will become home to a new Cotton On store spanning across almost 800m2 and adding to the centre’s global repertoire will be jewellery retailer Swarovski and Swedish stationer Kikki K.

Pacific Shopping Centres’ Graham Terry says, “Welcoming these prominent brands to Pacific Werribee’s stable of leading retailers is a really proud moment for us. We embarked on the Centre’s development with the vision of evolving the centre into a one-stop fashion, food and entertainment destination, and it’s the introduction of these great global and local brands that will create a well-rounded offer that’s comparable to that of metropolitan Melbourne.

We’re confident that the new Pacific Werribee will make an impactful difference on the lives of locals and we can’t wait to see the community’s response over the coming months as the Centre nears completion.”
Myer CEO Richard Umbers, said that it was an exciting move for the Australian retailer. “As part of our new Myer strategy, we are focused more on our customer than ever before. We’re looking forward to opening a modern Myer store in our new location at Pacific Werribee, and we think local shoppers will love the new brands we’ll have on offer, that are specifically tailored to their lifestyles.”

The introduction of the new retailers will be the final stage of redevelopment which includes an Urban Diner featuring over 15 specialty restaurants and Gold Class Village Cinema, as well as a retail precinct housing a brand new Target and over 50 specialty stores. SCN
