The new-look Willows Shopping Centre owned by DWPF opened on 24 August with over 80,000 people movements across the opening four days.

This milestone marks the completion of DWPF’s $80-million investment that has transformed the retail venue into a relaxed modern lifestyle shopping destination.

Townsville’s first Harris Scarfe opened along with a large-format Cotton On, Surf Dive N Ski, Sportsgirl, Pandora, Jeanswest and Urbanwear to name a few.

The new fashion mall connects seamlessly with the existing centre providing shoppers with a convenient shopping journey.

The opening of the new retail stores is a welcome boost to local employment with an estimated 100 new retail jobs coming online as a result of the local investment.

Willows has been servicing the local region since 1983 and now offers a modern retail shopping experience featuring Woolworths, Coles, Target, Big W, JB Hi-Fi, Best and Less and more than 140 specialty stores.
