Vicinity Centres and ISPT have unveiled the first major retail stage of Mandurah Forum’s $350-million transformation in WA’s growing Peel region.

Opening on budget, on schedule and fully leased, this stage includes a new Target store, a fresh food market hall and more than 60 specialty stores.

Angus McNaughton, CEO and Managing Director of Vicinity Centres, said: “The new Mandurah Forum has been designed to provide the best everyday shopping experience for the Peel region which is now Perth’s second-biggest city.”

Sam Curry, General Manager of Retail Services from ISPT said: “This project has been designed to capitalise on the growing Peel community which is one of Australia’s fastest-growing catchments with 2.8% population growth per annum forecast between now and 2030 and the millions of visitors and day trippers who travel to this popular tourist region each year.”

The $350-million transformation of Mandurah Forum will be complete in early 2018 when the centre welcomes Western Australia’s first next-generation David Jones store, a new fashion mall, casual dining precinct designed around a water oasis and a contemporary food court with an indoor-outdoor play area.
