Colonnades Shopping Centre

Vicinity Centres and Perron Group delivered their first South Australian redevelopment at Colonnades Shopping Centre which opened on March 16.

Opening ahead of budget, on schedule and 100% leased, the new market-style fresh food hall includes a brand new Aldi, 16 new specialty stores, an expanded and transformed Woolworths and an alfresco dining precinct.

Vicinity Centres Executive General Manager of Development, Jonathan Timms, said: “The redevelopment of Colonnades is the first project completed as Vicinity Centres. We are proud of what our team has done to revitalise the centre for the Noarlunga community.”

Colonnades is the only centre in southern Adelaide to boast an Aldi, Woolworths and Coles under one roof.

The 11-month, $51-million development project created 1,200 new jobs during construction along with an additional 100 ongoing retail roles at the centre.
