Belmont Forum has received council approval to proceed with a $65-million refurbishment of the centre.
The first stage of building works has commenced on the new dining precinct with further stages to commence later this year.

The dining precinct will consist of six to eight dining options. Set back from the road with an alfresco offer and adjacent to the 10-screen cinemas complex, the precinct will be the new social/lifestyle destination for residents in the City of Belmont and surrounding areas.

The dining precinct is due for completion and expected to launch early 2017.

Ross Robertson, Chief Executive Officer, Perron Group, says, “Belmont Forum has been a long term investment for the Perron Group and these upgrades signify the importance of the retail asset within the Perron portfolio.”
Later in 2016, works will commence on the construction of a new Coles supermarket and fresh food precinct, complimented with internal mall refurbishments including lighting, ceiling treatments and columns while updating the centre’s external facade.

In the last 12 months, there have been a number of significant upgrades to Belmont Forum, including the launch of supermarket ALDI, a full refurbishment of Kmart and all new amenities throughout the centre.
