Westfield Parramatta will unveil its anticipated enhanced fresh food precinct from November 30, with eight new retailers set to open following a $33 million investment.

Designed to meet the local needs of the Western Sydney community, the newly updated precinct will be anchored by major supermarkets – a full-line Coles and brand-new ALDI – in addition to a large format Asian Grocer. The refreshed offering will also feature a fishmonger, a chicken shop offering both fresh and cooked quality produce, a bakery, as well as a café and sushi retailer.

Scentre Group Centre Manager Westfield Parramatta, Leanne Tompkins said: “We’re thrilled to announce a diverse range of food retailers as a part of Westfield Parramatta’s new fresh food experience in the heart of Sydney’s second CBD. We set out to provide the residents and workers of Western Sydney with a convenient and accessible destination for their weekly shop and can’t wait to show them the new precinct.”

Exposed concrete, greenery, terrazzo flooring and black steel premium finishes feature in the revitalised precinct design, complementing the new product offering, in addition to a wider ambience update on level five.

With convenience an important factor, the redevelopment features improved accessibility with two new travellators linking the Level 6 Campbell Street carpark and Level 5, Upper 5 and 6 Aird Street carpark to the precinct making it easier than ever for the community to shop for their essentials and specialty ingredients.
