On Thursday 23 November, Westfield Knox unveiled its brand-new fashion and lifestyle precinct on Level 2 of the centre, with UNIQLO, JD Sports, Glue Store and General Pants Co opening to customers ahead of Black Friday.

To celebrate the launch of the new fashion and lifestyle precinct on Level 2 of the centre, customers were treated to live music, roaming family entertainment, surprise and delight treats, basketball court sessions with the Knox Basketball Association, and a Westfield member gift with purchase, right across the weekend.

Westfield Knox Centre Manager, Kristian Nicholls said: “Our customers have been seeking more choice when it comes to fashion and lifestyle experiences here at Westfield Knox. Today, we’re so thrilled to welcome the arrival of UNIQLO, General Pants Co, Glue Store and JD Sports, with further openings, including Glassons to follow soon.

“The openings come just in time for the annual Westfield Week of Offers and Black Friday sales events, and we know our customers will be excited to kickstart their Christmas shopping with the great deals on offer.”

Fuminori Adachi, CEO UNIQLO Australia said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Knox customers to our newest store, delivering our high-quality and timeless LifeWear clothing range to locals. Our UNIQLO Westfield Knox team are so excited to meet the local community, and to help customers experience our high-quality and timeless LifeWear clothing ranges. As part of Black Friday, we will be celebrating our ‘Thank You’ Festival, where customers who spend $75 or more in-store will receive a special Gift with Purchase from us to show appreciation for their loyalty.”

JD spokesperson said: “We’re extremely excited to finally bring JD Sports to Westfield Knox. The global trend of sportswear and athleisure has spurred on our expansion in Australia and New Zealand in recent years and we’re primed to bring our world-class in-store experience as well as exclusive offering of brands and styles across footwear and apparel for men, women & children, to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We look forward to marking the occasion with a coveted product assortment from opening, the likes of which our local customers have never seen, that will reward the most loyal and dedicated JD fans.”

Popular children’s brand Toyworld, premium linen, bedding and home décor retailer Bed Bath N Table, and homewares and party supplier Lo Costa House & Party will open before Christmas.

The new Swim School will also open this summer, with the Knox Library, a co-working space, and a new internal kids play to come in 2024.
