Westfield Knox will open its newest fashion and lifestyle precinct with an impressive list of international and Australian brands on 23 November, with local customers set to shop the latest trends and wardrobe essentials ahead of Christmas.

New retailers to open at Westfield Knox include UNIQLO, JD Sports, General Pants Co, GLUE Store and Australian fashion favourite, Glassons, has also been announced.

The launch of the new precinct coincides with the annual Westfield Week of Offers sales event, incorporating Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Westfield Knox Centre Manager, Kristian Nicholls said: “Next week, the Westfield Knox community will have what they’ve been asking us for – a range of Australian and international fashion brands, delivering the next step in our $355 million transformation.

“The new additions to our mix strengthen the destination we’re delivering, showcasing our commitment to bringing relevant and enticing brands to our customers and providing access to what they want locally.

“Christmas is just around the corner, and what better time to kickstart Christmas shopping with our business partners pulling out all the stops with exclusive Black Friday offers and experiences across Westfield Knox,” said Nicholls.

New design elements will be unveiled, with a grand vaulted ceiling and centralised skylight

Sam Glasson, Property & Logistics Manager Glassons said: “We know the Knox community will enjoy shopping our range of trending and must-have pieces, wardrobe staples and everything in between, and we are thrilled to be bringing Glassons to the new fashion and lifestyle precinct at Westfield Knox.”

Spanning 1,154m2, the new UNIQLO Knox store will feature 10 fitting rooms and five self-checkout machines and will showcase the latest 23 Spring/Summer range including the Premium Linen range as well as the wardrobe essentials that customers love both globally and locally.

Fuminori Adachi, CEO UNIQLO Australia said: “We are very excited to be part of Westfield Knox’s significant investment into the area, and to bring Tokyo to local customers with our LifeWear range – simple, high-quality clothing at a great price point, and made for the whole family.

“We are also very excited to introduce the UNIQLO Knox team to locals, and we’re welcoming 57 new team members, along with five existing team members who are transferring over. They have done such a great job getting the store ready, and they are looking forward to helping Westfield Knox customers and providing everyone a great experience.”

New design elements will also be unveiled, with a grand vaulted ceiling and centralised skylight taking inspiration from nature to create a sympathetic installation that breathes life and light into the precinct, connecting it with the lower level. A dynamic lighting installation will transform the skylight throughout the day, replicating the colours of the sky from morning sunrise to midday sun, right through to sunset and dusk.

The announcement of the new precinct follows the recent launch of a reimagined food court in October, and complements community-led initiatives including a full-sized basketball court, a nature-inspired outdoor kids play space, inclusive amenities and a calm room.

To celebrate the launch on 23 November, customers can enjoy exclusive giveaways, live music, roaming entertainment, and children’s entertainment.
