Westfield Doncaster will be unveiling a rooftop oasis later this year when it opens its much-anticipated $30 million rooftop dining and entertainment precinct. The ‘modern-village’ style redevelopment will see 14 restaurants open their doors to Melbourne’s east as Scentre Group announces the line-up of food and dining outlets.
Curated for a community passionate about dining and eating out, the rooftop space will deliver a compelling mix of restaurants from much-loved favourites to new culinary experiences. Iconic third-generation Woodstock Pizzicheria will be serving up authentic Sicilian recipes, while a brand-new kiosk concept from 7 Apple Gelato will offer handmade gelato and sorbets made with fresh seasonal produce. Popular overseas DIY okonomiyaki restaurant, Dohtonbori, will be opening its second Australian outpost, serving up Japanese savory pancakes.
“Our vision is to deliver a social destination for Melbourne’s East that’s not only convenient but a culinary haven for a community passionate about dining and eating out. The rooftop space will offer a truly elevated dining experience, with a compelling mix of restaurants, from much-loved favourites to new offerings.” said Scentre Group Regional Centre Experience Manager, Charlie Rimmer.
