Westfield Carindale has officially unveiled its exciting new dining retailers as part of its revamped food and entertainment offering. The highly anticipated dining precinct, located on Level 1, now features a mix of grab-and-go and casual sit-down restaurant options, offering a fresh and vibrant experience for customers.
The newly opened precinct boasts seven new dining retailers including Claw BBQ, Betty’s Burgers, Sushi Jiro, Nando’s, Viet House and a relocated Yum Cha, with the seventh retailer to be announced soon. New kiosks Sandwich Studio and Banh Mi is also open, alongside a refreshed Funhouse Entertainment.
The entire precinct has been transformed, incorporating modern design elements such as integrated casual dining areas, new flooring, and native plants to create a seamless connection to the outdoors. The design is intended to offer both comfort and style, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Megan Fogarty, Westfield Carindale’s Centre Manager, said: “Our community has been watching the development in anticipation, so it was very exciting to welcome them to our reimagined precinct over the weekend.”
The opening celebrations featured family-friendly activities, live music, roaming entertainment, giveaways, and more, marking the official launch of the reimagined dining and entertainment precinct.
“We know our customers value the convenience to shop, dine and enjoy entertainment under one roof. The transformed precinct now offers this alongside late-night trade, providing an evening dining experience which has been met with positive sentiment by our customers.
“Each retail offering features a unique experience that can only be found at Westfield Carindale, aligning with our focus to attract more people, more often for longer,” said Fogarty.
Among the standout dining options is Claw BBQ, Brisbane’s beloved Southern-inspired restaurant, now open in its second location, serving up signature BBQ and crabshack delicacies. Meanwhile, Betty’s Burgers, known for its retro, beach-inspired charm, is serving its popular fresh, juicy burgers.
The precinct also features Sushi Jiro, home to one of the Southern hemisphere’s longest sushi trains, Nando’s, famous for its flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, and Viet House, offering authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The relocated Yum Cha continues to delight customers with its traditional Chinese dishes. Sandwich Studio and Banh Mi provide additional options with Italian-inspired sandwiches and Vietnamese rolls from their newly opened kiosks.
Funhouse Entertainment, with its refreshed offering including kids’ bowling, has also reopened and is situated alongside Event Cinemas, offering a variety of entertainment options for customers throughout the day and into the evening.
Westfield Carindale is one of Brisbane’s premier shopping destinations, offering a wide range of retail, dining, and entertainment options for families and individuals. The recent transformation of the dining precinct reflects the centre’s ongoing commitment to providing an enhanced shopping and dining experience for the local community.
