Construction has commenced on a brand new al fresco dining zone in the next stage of Mirvac’s Toombul Shopping Centre makeover.
Located at Toombul’s major western entry off Sandgate Road, this fully licensed dining area will offer a new indoor/outdoor dining experience and introduce a first for Queensland when RASHAYS makes its sunshine state debut early next month.
Family-owned restaurant chain, RASHAYS, has been a sensation in NSW and ACT, growing rapidly to over 20 outlets. At the heart of its success is a family-friendly casual dining experience coupled with a delicious, hearty menu featuring wagyu steaks, chicken, seafood, pasta, pizza, burgers, salads and iconic deserts.
“Opening up the centre to an outdoor environment means we can take advantage of our wonderful climate and also offer another local dining destination for our community to enjoy,” said Melanie Hodge, Centre Manager.
“Our customers have been extremely complimentary about the improvements we’ve been making, so we are delighted to continue in our evolution by introducing RASHAYS to Queensland.”
The RASHAYS opening is part of the ongoing rejuvenation of the 50 year old centre, which will have seen modernisation of all the centre’s malls following completion of current Kmart Mall upgrades in October.
Amongst 44 new or refurbished stores, Toombul shoppers are now enjoying a greater array of fashion and lifestyle choices. Most recently Decjuba, Bed Bath & Table and Taking Shape opened in the centre joining other new offerings, Sussan, Wittner, W Lane and Lovisa.
Continued investment has also included the introduction of a first in-centre Pet Barn with pet access, an additional undercover car park, Bunnings and Aldi store openings, and multiple new fashion and service offers.
