International fashion brand, Superdry, best known for its sustainable jackets and outerwear, has opened its seventh store in Victoria with Superdry Doncaster launching on Saturday 29th April.
Born from an inspirational trip to Tokyo in 2003, Superdry is a global digital brand that fuses Japanese graphics, vintage Americana and the finest British tailoring to produce quality clothing with a modern aesthetic.
Captaining the expanded Superdry store footprint, is the brand’s new General Manager, Alastair Davies.
“We are incredibly excited to expand our Australian footprint which is a testament to the brands growing success in market,” says Davies.
Davies, with an extensive experience in retail, previously working as G-Star General Manager across ANZ and South Africa, joins the Superdry brand as it eyes additional expansion opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
The opening of Superdry Doncaster sees the brand service Melbourne’s northeast, completing an extensive offering across the city.
The new store, which boasts 120m2 of space and an evolved store design in the recently renovated Westfield centre, opens at the peak of Superdry’s trading calendar.
“The month of May sees jacket sales triple over two key weeks,” said Davies. “With an additional concept store in one of the coldest regions in the country, we are excited to see the results.”
Superdry, part of the Brand Collective Group, has grown from its core British market to become an internationally recognised global brand, sold across 101 countries.
