Stockland Cairns is welcoming a new dining precinct to the centre which will offer customers a unique and authentic Asian experience. Lantern Lane will be a vibrant and lively laneway that winds through a diverse landscape of Asian cuisine. Stockland Cairns is the largest Little Gun centre based on size and is 49,130m2 (2018 Little Guns Report).
Ciaran Tuite, Centre Manager at Stockland Cairns, said: “Lantern Lane will be the perfect place for family and friends to socialise over some incredible Asian eats. We place special value in understanding the wants and needs of our community and creating a public space that delivers on that.”
“It’s about bringing the community together, providing them with the convenience they want and curating experiences that add value to their lives. Our team has put a lot of thought into the design and foods and know that our customers will really appreciate the detail that has gone in to making Lantern Lane befitting of a true Asian experience.” he said.
Lantern Lane will be comprised of five, locally owned and operated kiosks, each with its own authentic options. Customers will have no shortage of choices, with cuisines to include Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese barbecue.
Jay Le, who is also behind the recent Sunlit Asian Supermarket and Wrap & Roll at Stockland Cairns, was thrilled to continue his venture of bringing yet another unique new offering to the community. “I wanted to create a cultural hub where people either felt a little more at home or like they had been transported somewhere completely new and authentic” he said.
“I am so excited for customers to come in and experience something that is unique not just to the centre, but also the area at large.” Le continued.
Lantern Lane is set to open Spring 2019.
