As Revelop continues its strategic repositioning of Stanhope Village, the company has announced that BIG W will be opening its doors in Q4 of this financial year. 

Stanhope Village is a dominant sub-regional shopping centre in Sydney’s Northwest, one of the fastest-growing regions in Australia. The centre ranks in the Top 5 Mini Guns for moving annual turnover (MAT).

“This is a very exciting development for the residents of Stanhope Gardens and surrounding suburbs as this will be the first new-look Big W store to open its doors within the last eight years,” said Charbel Hazourri, Director, Revelop.

“The store will stock everything you expect from Big W and more, including both quality home brands and renowned international brands as well as a full-service Party Counter in a brand new state-of-the-art large format store. With more floor staff on rotation and a Direct-to-Boot option, the Big W store will provide a strong customer service-focused offering to the Stanhope Village market.

“Recruitment for this new store will commence in February/March 2024, and we are pleased to confirm that all current BIG W and Kmart Stanhope Gardens team members will be guaranteed an interview. We will be recruiting for over 100 new roles, with a mix of permanent part-time, full-time and casuals and look forward to welcoming new team members.”
