SCN‘s 2024 Big Guns Lunch took place last Thursday 21 March at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney. The annual event which celebrates the best of the shopping centre industry was attended by more than 300 executives and coincided with the launch of SCN’s 2024 Big Guns edition.
The lunch commenced with a welcome from Leanne Liu, SCN‘s Managing Editor and a sponsor’s address by Michael Witts, Director at Mainbrace.
The Big Guns 2024 presentation followed with special awards given to Scentre Group’s Westfield Doncaster and Westfield Parramatta along with QIC’s Robina Town Centre for reaching the billion-dollar MAT milestone. Vicinity and Gandel’s Chadstone took out the top awards for both MAT and Specialty MAT/m2, while GPT’s Melbourne Central was awarded the number one spot for MAT/m2.
During the lunch, guests were also treated to a panel discussion delving into the changing landscape of shopping centre marketing. The panel moderated by SCN‘s Publisher, Michael Lloyd included:
