Local Gold Coast foodies welcome two new Asian establishments join QIC’s Robina Town Centre’s culinary precinct The Kitchens: Bubble ‘N’ Sweet and Ari Thai Kitchen & Bar. Bubble ‘N’ Sweets swung open its doors to patrons last week, unveiling a beautifully sleek space on Ground Floor, and if their name isn’t a dead giveaway, bubble tea is their forte.
Inspired by Taiwan’s popular tea drinking culture, which also happens to be the birth place of bubble tea, Bubble ‘N’ Sweets is now giving Robina locals the chance to sip on a selection of equally Insta and drool-worthy tea concoctions.
The second Bubble ‘N’ Sweets store to open in Queensland under owner Vincent Yin’s direction (the other is located in Toowoomba), this fresh new beverage bar is expected to earn itself a strong cult following among shoppers, with the bubble tea trend continuing to grow in popularity.
Asian foodie fans will be even more spoiled for choice with a new culinary gem launching in The Kitchens: Ari Thai Kitchen & Bar – a new concept from well-known Restaurateur Stanley Lee – his two restaurants, Saiko Teppanyaki and Mad Asian Kitchen & Bar.
Setting up shop on Level 1 of The Kitchens just a few steps from its sister restaurants, Ari Thai takes its cues from the Soi Ari food market in Bangkok; an uber-cool neighbourhood market where local street food vendors and street-side restaurants serve up a host of fresh Thai eats, produce and dessert day and night.
The restaurant fit out features a statement Thai-style fishing boat as the seating centre piece, surrounded by timber booths, perfect for date night, groups and special celebrations.
