Alquemie Group and the LEGO Group have announced a new LEGO® Certified Store to open at Westfield Miranda at 9:30am next Thursday 2nd February.

Situated on Level 3, the 215m2 store will be the first in NSW to follow the new global format for LEGO Certified Stores, including signature digital and interactive features.

Danii Ashton, Scentre Group Regional Centre Experience Manager said: “We’re thrilled to welcome LEGO® Certified Store to Westfield Miranda and share the first new global format store experience in NSW with our customers. We know the store will be a big draw card for the community as they seek out fun and interactive experiences for their families.”

The new store at Westfield Miranda marks the announcement of Alquemie Group’s 17th LEGO Certified Store, as part of a partnership with the LEGO Group.

Matthew Robertson, Managing Director, Licensed Brands at Alquemie Group, said: “Together with our partners at The LEGO® Group, we are proud to continue to extend the presence of LEGO® Certified Stores into Sydney’s South.

“The new store will capitalise on the enduring appeal of the LEGO® brand and bring a world-class retail concept to Westfield Miranda. We look forward to meeting our loyal, growing community of brick fans with the opening of our new, custom-built store.”

Designed to create an immersive world of LEGO bricks by blending unique digital and physical experiences, the new store at Westfield Miranda has been developed as part of the LEGO Group’s strategy to innovate as shoppers seek more personalised and interactive retail offerings. The new global store format has been developed following two years of LEGO customer research which identified consumers were seeking opportunities to play, to customise retail experiences and to have fun.

Troy Taylor, Vice President and General Manager, LEGO Australia and New Zealand, comments: “The new store format is part of the LEGO Group’s strategy to innovate across retail channels, with a similar concept introduced around the world.

“Westfield Miranda’s new LEGO Certified Store will be an incredible experience for all, and we are delighted to showcase the newest and best of what the LEGO® Group has to offer to the community.”
