Japanese global apparel retailer, UNIQLO, has open it’s second store in Western Australia at Westfield Carousel last Thursday 27 June. The store opening follows the opening of the first store in Perth located on Murray Street in the CBD.
Scentre Group’s Westfield Carousel attracted more than 750 excited locals to the centre who gathered for the UNIQLO store opening. Complimentary ‘Get Chunky’ cookies were given away to the first 250 people in line, along with a free gift bag for the first 500 customers who spent more than $100.
The doors opened to customers after an official ribbon cutting ceremony and Japanese drumming celebration. A complete line-up of LifeWear apparel for men, women, kids and babies is housed at the new 733m2 Westfield Carousel store.
Kensuke Suwa, Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO Australia said, “The opening of our second store in Western Australia at Westfield Carousel demonstrates our commitment to extending our LifeWear message to all Australians by offering exemplary customer service and high quality products at an affordable price.”
UNIQLO Carousel will take the retailer’s store count to 19 in Australia – underlining the brand’s commitment to growing Australia as a key market in the Asia-Pacific region through its unique shopping experience and world-class customer service.
UNIQLO continues to open large-scale stores in some of the world’s most important cities and locations, as part of its ongoing efforts to solidify its status as a global brand. Today the company has more than 2,000 stores in 22 markets including Japan.
