Starting on Monday 6 April, Darling Quarter will be hosting kids yoga sessions to provide some entertainment during self-isolation. The popular program normally runs at Darling Quarter and has attracted hundreds of toddlers and parents to the program. Located in the densely populated area near Darling Harbour and Chinatown, many locals have deeply missed the yoga sessions but now they join in online.

Everyone wants to give their kids the best start in life. Yoga helps toddlers and kids connect with their bodies, breath and minds, promoting positive body awareness, focus, compassion and individuality.

The weekly pre-schooler yoga sessions are now online to support everyone in isolation. Families and older children can join in with their young ones.

Hosted by DeeDee, a specialist in children’s yoga

The 30-minute sessions will be held on Monday mornings at 10am and be led by the charismatic DeeDee – a qualified yoga instructor who specialises in children’s yoga.

The classes are tailored for pre-schoolers, aged 2 to 5 years, but is also suitable for primary school-aged children.

Participants just need a device/TV with WIFI, yoga mat or a comfortable surface, towel or blanket and a small cloth to throw for some fun exercises!
