As part of Lendlease’s national partnership with the Major Performing Arts company Bangarra Dance Theatre, Lendlease-managed shopping centres are promoting the company’s latest production, Bangarra: 30 years of sixty five thousand, on its digital screens in urban and regional locations across Australia.

Showing on 16 screens across 11 shopping centres until August, the promotion of Bangarra’s landmark 30th anniversary season will reach approximately 13.2 million people across the country, from Campbelltown, Perth to Cairns.

Bangarra is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation and one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies. Bangarra are internationally acknowledged for facilitating truth-telling and the sharing of culture for Australia’s First Nations Peoples. Lendlease’s partnership with Bangarra is part of its Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan, which sets goals around cultural awareness, employment and procurement. The Elevate-level RAP also outlines Lendlease’s position in support of strong First Nations Peoples’ governance and self-determination.

Bangarra Performing Arts Company said “Bangarra: 30 years of sixty five thousand is our landmark 30th anniversary season. In 2019 this production will tour to every Australian capital city, and we’re excited to partner with Lendlease in sharing our stories across the country.”

The partnership aims to foster healing and reconciliation for all Australians through the preservation and sharing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, language, story-telling and spirit into our community every day.

Cath Brokenborough, Executive Lead Indigenous Engagement & RAP, Lendlease: “Lendlease is proud to be a Bangarra partner, helping to preserve and share our country’s rich Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, language, story-telling and spirit.
