Logan’s Hyperdome Shopping Centre welcomes TK Maxx to its 220-strong mix of retailers, with Toymate to join in coming weeks. In August this year, the QIC managed Hyperdome celebrated its 30th anniversary and is excited to welcome these two new additions.

Last week’s launch of global retail powerhouse TK Maxx was met with great enthusiasm from local shoppers, with crowds lining up from the early hours of the morning to snap up a big-name-brand bargain and enjoy exclusive launch day giveaways, while thousands visited the store across the opening weekend.

Customer lined up for hours to be the first to experience the TK Maxx store

Signalling the brand’s 12th store in Brisbane, TK Maxx offers an expansive selection of products spanning women’s, men’s and children’s fashion, as well as footwear, accessories, luggage, beauty, toys and homewares from popular designer, high-street and up-and-coming brands.

The TK Maxx opening is just one of the exciting retail experiences expected to open at Hyperdome pre-Christmas. The centre has confirmed the imminent arrival of at least another three new major fashion and lifestyle brands before the year is out, complementing its dynamic retail mix.

Australia’s first ever Toymate concept store is also currently under construction with a mid-November opening date scheduled. Toymate has chosen Hyperdome to open its first-ever concept store, offering locals an unrivalled opportunity to access this first-to-market retail emporium that will, literally, send kids into a spin with their very own toy and play destination.

Toymate will be open in time for Christmas

The brilliantly coloured 2,400m2 toy wonderland will boast a children’s play area, movie room and learning and education space complete with free interactive activities for the kids. Older kids will also be able to enjoy an arcade experience, while parents can relax and enjoy the refreshment area complete with Yogurt-Berry, confectionary and coffee.

Centre Manager of Hyperdome, Brian Turner, commented, “Off the back of last week’s launch of international retail giant TK Maxx, we are delighted to announce that Hyperdome is introducing a number of other popular new brands to our expanding retailer network ahead of the bumper Christmas shopping season.

“As a community hub here in Logan, we are committed to providing our locals with an exceptional shopping experience, and delivering exciting new retail destinations that meet our community’s growing needs. We look forward to sharing details of these new brands in the very near future, and anticipate they will all be well received by our local customers,” he said.
