Women’s fashion giant Glassons’ first Australian vintage concept store is set to launch at QIC’s Robina Town Centre this Thursday 17 October, with local fashionistas expected to line up to be among the first to shop at the new store.
Opening its doors to shoppers for the first time at 9am, the expansive 300m2 store will house a dedicated and permanent Curated Vintage Section – the first of its kind in Australia – featuring bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces from international pre-loved markets, handpicked by Glassons’ team of buyers. There will be a variety of brands represented including Vintage Levis.
General Manager of Robina Town Centre, Kathleen Hart, commented on the launch, “We are delighted to welcome fashion powerhouse Glassons to Robina Town Centre’s retail portfolio, just in time for the bumper Christmas season. As a Centre, we are committed to diversifying and enhancing our retail offer in response to our customers’ needs and aspirations, and we are confident the arrival of Glassons will be well received by local and visiting shoppers, particularly given this is a first-to-market concept.
“We have a number of other exciting retailer openings to announce over the coming months as part of our forward growth plans and look forward to sharing details of these shortly,” said Hart.
In addition to the store’s exclusive pre-loved fashion offer, Glassons Robina will also feature its full range of fashion, footwear, swimwear and accessory collections, as well as smart new technologies, including CrowdDJ (a customer selected digital jukebox), and the option for ‘click and collect’.
One of the 19 new retail experiences expected to open at the 400 plus store Robina Town Centre in the coming months pre-Christmas, the addition of Glassons to the Centre’s dynamic retail mix is set to be a crowd-pleaser with the local fashion crowd, who have come to love the brand’s fast fashion offer, on-trend collections and affordable price points.
Signalling the brand’s seventh Queensland store, Glassons has developed a devoted fan base since making its mark on the Australian retail landscape in 1996, and now has over 65 stores spanning Australia and New Zealand.
Glassons’ launch day celebrations will kick off from 9am on Thursday, with the first 50 customers through the door set to receive a $50 Glassons gift card to go towards updating their summer wardrobes. The festivities will continue on Saturday 19th October for the brand’s ‘Launch Party’, with another 50 lucky customers also set to snap up a $50 voucher. A pop-up coffee cart serving complimentary coffees from 8.30am will keep shoppers well caffeinated, while sweet treats will be handed out from 1pm, and mystery giveaways will take place throughout the day.
