Colliers has appointed Kate Strickland as Head of Retail Management Australia. Strickland arrives from JLL, where she served as Head of Retail for NSW over the past two-and-a-half years.
Strickland’s career spans more than 30 years in retail property management, development, leasing, and asset management. Her extensive background includes significant roles in the government property sector, where her team oversaw a diverse portfolio of more than 1,000 commercial, residential, community and heritage sites. Notably, Strickland has contributed to the development planning of regional shopping centres in Port Macquarie, Brisbane, and Melbourne during her tenure at ING Real Estate. Her impact at Lendlease, particularly at Sunshine Plaza QLD, where she was instrumental in transforming retail and entertainment hubs, stands out as a highlight of her career.

Strickland holds a Master of Management and an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
