Charter Hall continues its ongoing partnership with the social enterprise Two Good Co. into its sixth year. Supporting their mission to empower survivors of domestic violence with the Two is Better than One school holiday initiative.
Following success of the Two is Better than One backpack decorating campaign in January, the initiative will return for the April School Holidays.
This time, children are invited to visit participating shopping centres and decorate a teddy bear using fabric markers from The Littles range. For every teddy bear decorated, Charter Hall will donate an additional teddy bear to a child in crisis, bringing joy and providing them with essential items.
The campaign will run throughout April and continue through the July school holiday periods across nine participating shopping centres nationwide. It aims to use the power of art and giving to bring comfort and hope to children facing difficult situations.
Two Good Co. creates and donates high-quality meals and luxurious, sustainable products to women experiencing crisis. These gifts of ‘Good Food’ and ‘Good Things’ are vehicles to demonstrate love, value, and respect.
Charter Hall Retail CEO, Ben Ellis, said: “Our shared dedication to creating meaningful change makes the Charter Hall and Two Good Co. partnership truly impactful. Together, we stand united in our commitment to making a positive impact and fostering a greater sense of belonging in every Australian community. The depth of our collaboration lies in its genuine impact on the communities we serve.”
Extending this offer, in 2024, Two Good Co. is launching its newest product range, The Littles, designed to support children living in domestic violence shelters, providing them with comfort, support, and a sense of hope.
Reflecting on the partnership, Two Good Co. founder, Rob Caslick, said, “Launching The Littles range is a milestone for Two Good Co., marking our commitment to providing comfort, support, and a sense of hope to children living in domestic violence shelters. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Charter Hall into its sixth year, with the collaboration being instrumental in our mission to support resilient women and their families, while shining a light on the unique difficulties they face.”
The Two is Better than One initiative will extend its positive impact into the July school holiday periods. Participating shopping centres will again welcome shoppers to decorate lunchboxes, with all proceeds from these events supporting Two Good Co. in distributing care packs to children in need.
