Belmont Forum has successfully launched a range of new restaurants as part of the Perron Group’s $65-million redevelopment project, in addition to unveiling a new brand which signifies the shopping centre’s evolution into the area’s newest meeting place.
The launch weekend – 28 to 30 April – celebrated the very first Schnitz restaurant in WA opening its doors as well as Mexican favourite Guzman y Gomez, Chinese restaurant Canton Lane and Japanese ramen bar Sakaba. San Churro is also due to open in the coming weeks.
Graeme Glass, Senior Asset Manager at Perron Group, says the new dining precinct is positioned just eight kilometres from Perth’s CBD and is already establishing itself as the newest entertainment destination in Belmont.
“We’re proud to have delivered an exciting new shopping, food and entertainment destination that caters to the growing needs of our community,” Glass says.
As part of the launch celebrations, the centre offered complimentary gelato for diners, in addition to live acoustic performances and giant interactive game stations along the restaurant walk.
The shopping centre has seen a number of significant upgrades recently, including the launch of ALDI, a full refurbishment of Kmart plus the addition of JB Hi Fi Home and Best & Less. In addition, a full carpark and amenities upgrade are part of the 18-month redevelopment plan.
Belmont Forum’s redevelopment project is scheduled to be completed by mid-2018.
