A standout collection of international and local fashion and beauty retailers are coming to what will be Auckland’s largest mixed-use lifestyle precinct – Commercial Bay. Precinct Properties have announced a mix of first-to-market and established local fashion favourites as part of the highly anticipated retail line up coming to Commercial Bay in 2019. H&M are already trading in the precinct.

French fashion labels Sandro and Maje are international brands making their debut on Kiwi shores. Maje epitomises femininity and joie-de-vivre, while Sandro is chic, sleek and cool. These unique Parisian labels are sure to draw the attention of local fashion lovers.

Sandro and Maje’s SMCP Group spokesperson says, “Commercial Bay presents a fantastic opportunity to launch Sandro and Maje to the New Zealand market. Surrounded by other fashion forward brands, we’re excited to be a part of this new and dynamic fashion precinct”.

A taste of other international brands joining the Commercial Bay offering include American handbag and accessories designer, Kate Spade New York, luxury fashion house Hugo Boss, Italian leather goods brand Furla and Australian footwear designer, Wittner Shoes with its first Auckland store.

Commercial Bay will showcase a strong cosmetic offering with Dior Perfumes and Beauty opening its first boutique in the New Zealand market, as well as L’Occitane and MECCA, which will meld together its existing Cosmetica and Maxima concepts at its Commercial Bay store.

Alongside off-shore brands, Commercial Bay will feature a variety of leading Kiwi favourites, as well as a new local offering. Brittain Wynyard will open the first of its new footwear concept, Solect, retailing a range of premium brands.

Clothing brand, Federation, high-quality menswear retailers, 3 Wise Men and Barkers, boutique footwear offering Scarpa and boutique hair specialist, Loxy’s, join the already announced Superette and Just Another Fisherman at the precinct.

Precinct Properties’ CEO, Scott Pritchard, says the company is committed to delivering a world-class lifestyle precinct that is truly unique destination for Kiwi shoppers.

“Our goal at Commercial Bay is to ensure the fashion, and food and beverage offerings available contribute to making it the most transformational project Auckland has ever seen. We’ve worked closely with our leasing partners, Match, who have carefully curated the offer and we’re thrilled with the fashion brands that have committed to Commercial Bay. Aucklanders will be able to enjoy a reinvigorated city centre shopping experience like no other later this year.” Pritchard said

“As well as the establishment of first to market international brands, we’re really proud to support Kiwi fashion brands making their mark on Auckland city centre retail. We’re passionate about creating a precinct that helps local retailers expand their footprint and rub shoulders with some of the world’s most popular high-end brands,” he continued

With 84% of space already committed, Commercial Bay retail will open in September 2019.
