Accent Group today announced the opening of four HOKA stores across three states in 2023, including the brand’s first Australian standalone concept store at Westfield Bondi Junction on Thursday 2nd November.
A concept store will also open in Chadstone in December, with DFO Brisbane and a pop-up in Little Bourke Street, Melbourne, opening this week.
Accent Group’s General Manager, Performance Division, Hamish Allison said the new stores will capitalise on strong market momentum for the brand.
“HOKA is positioned for its next phase of growth with a portfolio of new store openings marking an important strategic next step both from a sales and brand marketing perspective,” Allison said.
“The stores will add considerable value by ranging the full breadth of the HOKA line including footwear, apparel and accessories, whilst helping communities connect with brand ambassadors, athletes, product experts and each other.”
The new HOKA stores will blend modern design with natural elements that embody the brand’s heritage, with interactive features that tap into the brand’s ethos of joyful performance.
3D digital foot scanning technology will assist customers in selecting the perfect size and style for their needs, in addition to dedicated community areas that allow consumers the opportunity to connect with HOKA ambassadors and elite athletes, or various activations such as community runs, yoga classes, masterclasses, workshops and panels.
“The new stores will be immersive brand experiences and community-fuelled spaces which spark conversations and inspire movement,” said Sally James, Head of HOKA.
“Our goal is to create welcoming environments that we hope can connect communities, including accessible run clubs and classes for fans of the brand to take flight in together.”
To celebrate the Westfield Bondi Junction concept store, HOKA will host a community run from Bondi Beach to store in partnership with the 440 Run Club where runners of all abilities will be able to connect.
