Scentre Group, together with its joint venture partner Dexus Wholesale Property Fund, today opened the doors to Westfield Mt Druitt’s highly anticipated $55 million rooftop dining, entertainment and lifestyle precinct.

To celebrate the opening, customers will be treated to four days of festivities, special offers, and entertainment. Timezone offered up a selection of show bags for the first 200 guests to walk through its doors, while TGI Friday’s will stagger a range of festivities, including free fairy floss, roaming cheerleaders, and free burgers following opening day.

Scentre Group Regional Centre Experience Manager, Danii Ashton said: “The moment has arrived. We’re so excited to be welcoming our customers and new retail partners to Westfield Mt Druitt’s brand-new rooftop dining, entertainment and lifestyle precinct.

“We are incredibly proud of what we’ve delivered and have already seen a fantastic response in these first few hours from our customers.”

A destination for the Mt Druitt community to come together and enjoy quality time with friends and family

Designed specifically for the Western Sydney community, the 6,500m2 precinct takes the centre’s dining and lifestyle offering to the ‘next level’ with 15 new dining experiences, including; The Sporting Globe, TGI Fridays, Mad Mex, San Churro, Little Bangkok, ChaTime, Baskin Robbins and a large-scale Timezone.

The new rooftop precinct connects with the existing rooftop car park, adjacent to the HOYTS cinema, creating an integrated indoor-outdoor experience for the community to enjoy. Locally commissioned artwork and street art also create bursts of colour throughout the precinct.
