Westfield Knox has announced a number of new retailers set to join its new Australian and international fashion precinct when it opens later this year, as well as its relocated and reimagined food court.

Arriving before Christmas, world-renowned casual-wear retailer UNIQLO will offer high-quality everyday clothing for the whole family, while leading sports-fashion retailer JD Sports will present popular athleisure brands to complement the active lifestyles of the Knox community. Australian favourites Glue Store and General Pants Co will round out the precinct, bringing on-trend style to customers.

Westfield Knox Centre Manager, Kristian Nicholls said: “We’re thrilled to announce that UNIQLO and Glue Store will join Westfield Knox in a few months’ time. The arrival of these brands will elevate our fashion and lifestyle offer, delivering new and exciting experiences that our customers have been waiting for.”

The reimagined food court will relocate to Level 1, providing numerous options for diners and featuring an innovative design that includes a variety of seating options for families and large groups amongst an abundance of greenery.

Sought-after food operators including Mad Mex, KFC, Chatime, Roll’d, Soul Origin, and Subway will open, alongside local favourites A+HK Café, Bonbons Bakery, New Era Dumplings, Sandwich Hut, Royal Donuts and Yiros & Potato Hut.

A UNIQLO spokesperson said: “We’re very pleased to be part of Westfield Knox’s exciting redevelopment and investment into the local community, and we are excited to finally share that we will be opening a UNIQLO store in Westfield Knox later this year. It will be a great opportunity for us to be part of the elevated fashion and lifestyle offer, and we are looking forward to offering locals our LifeWear – affordable, simple, high-quality everyday clothing, made for the whole family.”

Glue Store General Manager, Laura Ghannoum said: “We have been bringing world-class brands to Australians for over 24 years, so it’s so amazing that we can now extend our concept to Knox, Victoria. We are excited to present our unique exclusive mix of premium and on trend brands to elevate customer’s looks from head to toe, including Nude Lucy, Carhartt WIP, Polo Ralph Lauren, Article One and Stussy to name a few.”

“Our vision for Westfield Knox is really coming to life. We’re looking forward to sharing more exciting updates on the transformation with our customers and welcoming them to the launch of our new fashion and food precincts later this year,” added Nicholls.

The announcement follows the opening of community initiatives including a FIBA-grade basketball court and nature-inspired outdoor kids play place, alongside a line-up of more than 20 new and returning fashion and lifestyle retailers including Decjuba, Gorman, Forever New, Kathmandu and rebel, in June.
